It’s already been an amazing start to this new year. Recently, I celebrated my birthday and visiting with family and friends led to a lot… A LOT of retrospect and thought.
Let me share with you some of my thoughts. The first week of a new year came to an end (sigh, excitement sigh, excitement… ) New challenges and opportunities are knocking. Ideas are abundant. And yes… I just watched another birthday go by. So, what does all that mean? It means I need to get my butt in gear.
This past year has been such a whirlwind for me, business wise. I’ve taken on new projects that have wings! And, to tell you the truth, I love seeing a spark of an idea come into light and grow into something valid and real. It motivates me like nothing else.
And that’s where this journey begins.
I wish I really did have a Crystal Ball, then I’d know what the future had in store for me. But since I don’t, I’ll have to make my own future.
So, here are the plans:
- Build a Graphics Library that is original, unique and meets the needs of established and new Journalers, Scrapbookers and DIYers.
- Take on more Commissioned Illustration work to help individuals do their own creative projects.
- Build the Free To Be Me Agenda Journal Brand
- Cultivate and nurture a community that supports Artists and Makers, Journalers & DIYers.
There! I’ve said it. I put myself out there for everyone to see and hear. My first steps to recovery. Recovery from fear and doubt. Something I’ve been plagued with for a long time. Something that has stifled my own growth. Something that I know so many of you deal with too. Now I’m here to say that we should break those chains and move into the life we’ve always known we should be living. For me that’s a Creative Life! But more on that in another article.
So I’m going to get going now, I have a lot of work ahead of me and no more procrastination!
My Gift to YOU!
Before you go, I want to give you a little something. It is my birthday after all and what are birthdays for if not for gift sharing. First is the nifty little crystal ball above. I’ve included a PNG and JPG. You can get that file in a small zip here.
And Secondly, I’ve included a set of four black and white flourished note cards. These are in PDF and JPG format and can be downloaded here.
I hope you enjoy both.
You can expect freebies on the blog here every month, possibly more, let’s see how thing work out between us. ;-).
